Hi everyone! I’m Breleigh Rose, and I have the honor of serving as the Vice President of Membership Recruitment for Alpha Phi at Baylor University. I’m currently a junior studying Public Relations and American Sign Language, and I truly cannot imagine my college experience without this chapter and the women in it.
 

When I went through recruitment, I was searching for more than just a place to belong. I was searching for people who would encourage me, challenge me, support me, and make Baylor feel like home. From the moment I walked into Alpha Phi, I felt seen for exactly who I was. The women here are genuine, joyful, compassionate, and constantly uplifting the people around them. They are the friends who celebrate your successes, sit beside you through difficult moments, and make even the smallest everyday memories feel special.
 

Recruitment can feel exciting, overwhelming, emotional, and unforgettable all at once. If you’re beginning this process feeling nervous or uncertain, know that you are not alone. My biggest advice is to give yourself grace, stay open-minded, and trust the process. The place where you are meant to be will feel like somewhere you can fully be yourself.
 

Serving as VPMR has been one of the greatest privileges of my college experience because I get to help create the same welcoming environment that impacted me so deeply. I cannot wait for you to experience the love, connection, and sisterhood that make Alpha Phi so special.
